Lisa Eldridge Vega Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Vega

Lisa Eldridge Vega Eyeshadow Palette ($68.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a new, six-pan palette that included four more matte shades paired with two more shimmery shades in a soft, smoky color story. It is one of five pre-made options from the recent Lisa Eldridge eyeshadow release, though all six shades can be purchased as pan-only (the best deal, unsurprisingly, is to buy pre-made, and you cannot purchase empty palettes at this time, but I know the brand is considering it in the future after receiving requests).

The brand’s eyeshadow formula has an assortment of finishes, so how they were supposed to perform (and how they performed) did vary from finish to finish, but the important finishes to note are that Luminous has “medium payoff, semi-transparent base” and Top Coat as a “minimal pigment formula,” whereas the other shades are higher coverage with a literally different finish (ranging from soft

ColourPop Skywatcher Lite Stix Review & Swatches

Formula Overview

$8.00/0.33 oz. – $24.24 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to “blend effortlessly” with a “natural, skin-like finish” that can be layered or applied on bare skin. The brand recommends applyling directly from the tube for heavier coverage and using a brush to pick up product for less coverage, though the coverage “easily builds colour to your heart’s desire.”

They dry down to a semi-set finish–lightly dewy, definitely “natural, skin-like” in appearance, but not overly tacky or really wet-looking. I haven’t found that they migrate or move around much, so the formula is still longer-wearing at seven to nine hours with minimal movement. They have applied well and worn well over foundation thus far, too. They are not transfer-proof but are transfer-resistant; they won’t smear around with an inadvertent touch but aren’t fully locked down.

The pigmentation varied a bit from shade to shade, but most shades were

Kaleidos Ecstasy Mono Blush Review & Swatches

Sunburnt

Kaleidos Ecstasy Mono Blush ($18.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a bright, almost neon, peachy orange with warmer undertones and a matte finish. It wasn’t quite as yellow-toned as other light and bright orange blushes I’ve come across, but it wasn’t pink/red enough to be more of a coral either, so it ended up being a more unique hue.

It had a moderately powdery texture, so there was a bit of kick up in the pan, though it seemed to apply with full coverage wasn’t prone to sheering out (unless I wanted it to) and was blendable. This shade lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

ColourPop It’s a Small World Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

It’s a Small World

ColourPop It’s a Small World 12-Pan Pressed Powder Shadow Palette ($18.00 for 0.3 oz.) is a new, limited edition palette that contained a mix of matte, shimmer, and glitter shades (one glitter to be precise!). The quality of the shimmer shades was below average for the brand, and in general, while the mattes were pigmented, blendable, and more consistent with the brand’s matte formula.

Ingredients

Hello

Hello is a light, yellowed peach with warmer undertones and a matte finish.

  • Opaque color coverage
  • Soft, finely-milled, somewhat powdery
  • Applied evenly and was blendable
  • Long-wearing (7.5 hours before fading visibly)
